A 404 Error means that the page or file you were trying to navigate to does not exist. This can happen when you remove a page then try to open it anyway, or if you need to save your Permalink settings.

To correct a 404 Error that occurs from clicking any links on your site,

  1. Go to the “Settings” tab in the WordPress dashboard
  2. Select the “Permalinks” option.
  3. Without changing ANY settings, save the Permalinks options, TWICE.
  4. Try to click a link on your site again and see if the page now loads.
