Getting Started

Welcome to HuskiMail!

You’re on your way to enjoying state-of-the art business email for your organization. You should have received an email from us providing information about the email setup requirements.

In this email you will find instructions for accessing, setting up your account and connecting your domain to the email service. You’ll also find helpful links in the welcome email, too.

We recommend checking the instructions in that email instead of using this article. The instructions are tailored specifically to you.

Required DNS Settings

Did you buy your domain from us, or did you already have your domain fully pointed to our server with Name Server records?

We already took care of these DNS changes for you automatically as soon as your order was placed. You’re welcome! Your email service should be ready to use in just a couple minutes. If you are having trouble, just give us a howl.

 

If you are using a domain that you did not purchase from us or is not currently pointing to our server via Name Server records, you will need to add the following DNS records to your domain, below.

CNAME mail.{yourdomain.com} safari.mxrouting.net
CNAME webmail.{yourdomain.com} safari.mxrouting.net
MX 10 {yourdomain.com} safari.mxrouting.net
MX 20 {yourdomain.com} safari-relay.mxrouting.net
TXT* {yourdomain.com} v=spf1 ip4:[domain IP address without brackets] include:mxlogin.com -all

 

This last part (TXT record row) of the table may be a little tricky. If you don’t know what IP address to put, just check your welcome email you received for your hosting. Or, let us know you need help by sending us a chat.
