Overview #
The Event Schedule box controls when and where an event happens. This information can appear on public event displays, help sort events, and anchor scheduled notifications.
Good schedule information is especially important because notification timing uses the event start or end date.
Where to Find It #
Open an event and look for the Event Schedule box.
Schedule Fields #
- Start Date/Time: When the event begins.
- Timezone: The timezone used for the event start time.
- End Date/Time: When the event ends.
- Location: Address and location details for the event.
How to Set the Schedule #
- Open the event editor.
- Enter the start date and time.
- Choose the correct timezone.
- Enter the end date and time if known.
- Fill in the location details.
- Update or publish the event.
Troubleshooting #
- Notifications send at the wrong time: Check the event timezone and start/end dates.
- The event sorts incorrectly: Confirm the start date is filled in.
- Location looks incomplete: Review the address fields in the schedule box.
That’s it, dawg!
