Overview #
Huski Members now includes an approval email template. This email is sent when a member is approved for the public directory.
This is a helpful moment to communicate with the member. It can tell them their profile is live, invite them to review their listing, and send them to the profile edit page if they need to make changes.
Where to Find It #
Go to Huski Members > Settings and review the Email Templates section.
What This Email Should Say #
- Let the member know they were approved.
- Explain that their profile can now appear in the public directory.
- Give them a next step if they should review or update their information.
- Use a clear, friendly tone.
Profile Edit Page Placeholder #
The Settings screen includes an Edit Profile Page setting. This is used for the {profile_edit_url} placeholder in approval emails.
Make sure the selected page contains [huskimembers_profile_edit]. Otherwise, the approval email may not send members to the right place.
How to Customize It #
- Create or confirm the Edit Profile page.
- Add
[huskimembers_profile_edit]to that page. - Go to Huski Members > Settings.
- Select the Edit Profile Page.
- Open the approval email template.
- Edit the subject and body.
- Keep placeholders intact.
- Save settings.
Best Practices #
- Keep the email short and encouraging.
- Give members a clear link to review or update their profile.
- Tell members who to contact if something looks wrong.
- Test the approval workflow before launch.
Troubleshooting #

- The shortcode page does not work: Make sure the page contains
[huskimembers_profile_edit]. - Placeholders show as text: Check that the placeholder syntax was not changed.
