Overview #
In addition to assigning speakers to individual events, Huski Events includes a shortcode for displaying all speaker profiles on a page.
This is useful when you want a speaker directory, presenter page, conference faculty page, or public list of people involved across multiple events.
Shortcode #
Use:
[huskievents_all_speakers]
Where to Use It #
- Create a WordPress page for speakers.
- Add
[huskievents_all_speakers]to the page content. - Publish the page.
- Review the public page to make sure the speaker cards look right.
What Displays #
The output uses the speaker information saved under Huski Events > Speakers, such as speaker image, name, title, session title, URL, and bio.
Best Practices #
- Keep speaker bios a reasonable length.
- Use consistent photo sizes.
- Make sure speaker URLs are valid.
- Review the page after adding or editing speakers.
Troubleshooting #
- No speakers show: Make sure speaker profiles were saved.
- The shortcode text appears: Make sure the plugin is active and the shortcode is typed correctly.
- Images look inconsistent: Use similar image dimensions for each speaker.
That’s it, dawg!
